Terms and Conditions for Courier Services
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of courier services provided by GCCA Limited ("the Company") to its customers. By using the Company's courier services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.
Service Description
GCCA Limited offers courier services for the delivery of packages, parcels, and documents. The Company will make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the items in a timely manner, subject to the terms and conditions herein.
Service Limitations
GCCA Limited will not be liable for delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to inclement weather, traffic conditions, or any other force majeure events.
Waiting Time
GCCA Limited provides 30 minutes of free waiting time for loading and unloading. After the initial 30 minutes, a charge of £15 per half hour will apply for extended waiting time.
Overload
GCCA Limited reserves the right to refuse to accept items for delivery if they exceed the maximum weight or size limits specified by the Company. Customers are responsible for ensuring that items comply with the Company's weight and size restrictions.
Cancellation Fee
In the event that a customer cancels a scheduled delivery after confirmation, a cancellation fee of £40 will apply.
Prohibited Items
Customers are prohibited from sending items that are illegal, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited by law. GCCA Limited reserves the right to inspect and refuse delivery of any items that are deemed to be prohibited.
Liability
GCCA Limited's liability for any loss or damage to items in transit is limited to the lesser of the actual value of the item or the amount stated in the Company's liability coverage, if applicable. Customers are encouraged to purchase additional insurance for high-value items.
Claims
In the event of loss or damage to an item, customers must file a claim with GCCA Limited within a reasonable time frame. Claims will be subject to review and investigation by the Company.
Payment
Customers are responsible for paying all applicable fees and charges for courier services. Payment terms and methods will be agreed upon between GCCA Limited and the customer.
Late Payment Fee:
In the event that a customer fails to make payment for services rendered by the agreed upon due date, the customer shall be charged a late payment fee of £40 plus an additional 0.8% of the outstanding balance per day until the payment is received in full. The late payment fee will be added to the customer's invoice and must be paid along with the outstanding balance.
Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold GCCA Limited harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the customer's use of the courier services, including but not limited to claims related to the contents of the items being shipped.
Termination
GCCA Limited reserves the right to terminate or suspend courier services to any customer at its discretion.
Governing Law
These Terms and all disputes arising out of or in connection with the provision of courier services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction].
By using GCCA Limited's courier services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. GCCA Limited reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is the customer's responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any changes.
